Aerial straps are two pieces of webbing material, suspended from the ceiling to the floor, that students can climb and wrap themselves in while executing various moves, maneuvers, and tricks.
In this two-hour workshop taught by Kevin Scott Cannon, students will learn several methods to safely wrap and hang from the straps to assume various body positions while exploring dance movements such as spinning, rocking, lifting, flipping, rolling, pulling, and pushing. Stronger students will learn more advanced tricks as time and interest permit, including meat hook, flag, body rollups, and drops.
Price: $45 if you sign up by January 31, or $60 after January 31. Only 10 spaces are available in the workshop.
