Fitted clothing, such as yoga or pilates attire, is great for aerial classes. Nothing too baggy as it may get caught in the apparatus. No short shorts; it’s better to have the back of your legs/thighs covered to avoid friction burn and provide extra padding. No shirts that expose the midriff area.
Anyone 8 years or older is welcome to take class.
Safety is a top priority at The Aerial Classroom. Our equipment was set up by a professional circus rigger and is rated to withstand thousands of pounds of pressure. While we have many students who train in the aerial arts as a means to getting into shape, you may want to consult with your physician prior to taking class if you are severely overweight and concerned about your safety or ability to perform circus techniques, which can be very physically demanding.
You are welcome to take any of the classes. All of our classes are open to all levels; we work with each student individually according to your skill level. Most people like to start with our Intro to Aerial Class!

This depends on the person and the strength and agility he or she has when starting classes. It is very important to have patience when learning aerials for safety. It is a very challenging and physically demanding art that requires time and dedication.
